Our 7 16 socket is on the rear window glass retaining nut. First if your car is a 1953 1957 you will think the end is way longer then it needs to be. Remember the door will be open for some time. Allow the rear lower corner of the glass to come completely out of the track and wiggle the roller clear of the door such that you now have the front roller still in the door in its track but the rear roller and bottom of the glass is completely clear of the door.
